Kawan Village Château de l'Epervière is situated in the heart of Southern Burgundy, between Beaune and Mâcon. Our 4**** campsite pays justice to this generous region full of traditions and history.
Holidaying in the grounds of a 16th Century Castle
Burgundy's history is full of passion. Birthplace of the famous "Ducs de Bourgogne" who left their marks with many castles and other majestic buildings. The 4**** estate of Château de l'Epervière honours this legacy welcoming you in the grounds of an elegant 16th Century castle. Our spacious pitches are perfect for caravans, motorcaravans, trailer tents, folding campers and tents. We also rent out luxury apartments (60 m² !) in the castle. On the campsite, you will also find our very comfortable Zen mobile-homes/cottages.

With the reputation of the delicious wines, generous Burgundy knows how to welcome guests. The Bérard and Engel families will be delighted to give you their warmest welcome on the spacious and relaxing campsite, ideal for "recharging the batteries". Even though Domaine du Château de l'Epervière is situated in a rural area, it is still within easy reach of the A6 motorway.
Organised in and around the château and its annexes, the facilities of Domaine du Château de l'Epervière (including a sauna, whirlpool, gourmet restaurant, swimming pools and much more) ensure you of all the modern confort to enjoy an unforgettable holiday.

We couldn't welcome you in our region without making you discover on of Burgundy's most precious treasures: its gastronomy. Our Chef awaits you and will be happy to invite you for a gourmet evening enjoying some classic Burgundy and other recipes, accompanied of course by some of Burgundy's finest wines. Our two attractive restaurant rooms in the castle and our covered terrace will make sure the ambiance is just right.

However, at the beginning of the second Millenium, Burgundy earned its reputation for its spiritual influence throughout Europe. In these days, the Abbey of Cluny was the religious centre of Europe, and many “daughters of Cluny”(other abbeys under the influence of Cluny) were built everywhere, particularly in Southern Burgundy.
